Surprise!! You have a son...

Well, today I got a phone call from a VERY desperate lady who needed to place an exchange student from France. So, we prayed, said we would give it a go and he comes tomorrow at 1pm. His Name is Pierre and he is 16 years old and a senior in High school.

I am a little ambivalent about this... First off he is a boy, so that is weird all by itself. Next, Shawn is acting nervous about it all, so that makes me more nervous and... I only had 10 minutes to decide if I wanted to do it or not.... I think I made the right choice, but we will find out in a few days I guess..

Canning Peaches....

Today is canning peaches day....Julie, Mom and I are having a wonderful time! The peaches are beautiful, but don't blanch very well. We'll be doing this tomorrow too.

Julie just got a phone call and needs to go see her mother-in-law now. So, I guess I am done. We love you Shirley...

Three Year old - gone WILD!!!

Ok, so my little one has been causing all sorts of havoc around the house lately.One morning I made some gluten free biscuits from a mix (expensive) and he smashed them all into the carpet.... Then I had a bowl of ripe peaches on the counter....He bit each one and put them back in the bowl. I just get so mad when he does things like this that I have to take a picture so to distract myself and not hurt the little Ice cream muncher. Isn't he cute?? Naughty, but Cute!
