Today, the sick day...

Today my wonderful school age children had fevers and sore throats....so we stayed home again. I tried to go grocery shopping, but it was really hard with all three of them not feeling well and whining. So, I decided to potty train Baby boy. I bought him some Diego underwear and he put all three pairs on at the same time. It was funny!! He fell asleep in the car after I decided to put a pull up on him and he slept for three hours...the boy that never naps. MIRACLE!! #1 boy also slept that long and so did I. #1 girl started on her diorama while we were all asleep and the world was beautiful....

What to do...

It snowed so much yesterday that they closed school. This is the second time this year that they have done this. We decided that we were going to build a fort in the snow....and here is what we ended up with today. There are plans for tomorrow, but if they have school, I will change the plans so that I get to do something fun. While we were outside, baby boy was inside scavenging. He found peanut butter and chips and a drink that he spilled all over the counter. I think he had fun, but he got lonely and started to cry. That is when I decided to make caramel corn and put on a movie. I am so grateful for movies and caramel corn!! Hooray for today!!

Another snowy day....again...

Well everything has calmed down on the prairie...except the snow. We are getting big snow drifts and a lot of snow. The boys are out playing in it, but I got too cold to continue. I shoveled some of the walks, but it covered it right back up with snow, as soon as I was done with one part I'd have to redo it. Fruitless efforts.

Sounds like a good day for cleaning and cooking some good food.

Here's a self portrait I took the other day. You can kind of see my different colored eyes...one blue ...one green.
